Graduation Information

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS IN COURSES

The Student must complete the following graduation requirements:

  1. Complete the required number of program clock hours.
  2. Complete and submit all CourseKey assignments, to demonstrate completion of State requirements. 
  3. Pass the school’s final written and practical exams.
  4. Complete the required theory hours and pass all written theory exams.

Upon meeting all requirements listed above for graduation, the Student will receive an official transcript. Students may also request an official current transcript from the School, at any time following graduation. 

Upon meeting all requirements listed above for graduation, having all monies owed to the school and/or a payment arrangement made with the School, the Student will receive a graduation/completion certificate.

Upon graduation, the school will issue one (1) transcript to the student free of charge. Other than that, any transcript requests made by the student or a third party will be charged a $25.00 fee as of the date of the request.

The school will provide to each current student a certified transcript detailing hours obtained, completed, and for which the school has been compensated.

The school will provide the student with a certified transcript of earned hours within ten (10) working days of the student’s withdrawal or graduation provided all contractual agreements have been met.

GRADUATES COMPLETING A PROGRAM AND REENROLLING IN A NEW PROGRAM

A student that graduates from one program within the school and wishes to enroll in another program within the school, a determination of the state laws will determine the amount of hours that will be transferred into the new program, the student will need to meet the quantitative and qualitative components of SAP for the new program.

There are many wonderful career opportunities available within the beauty industry. In addition to hair design, this industry also offers opportunities in areas such as skin care, makeup, aromatherapy, nail artistry, product education, platform artistry, and salon management.

Although Paul Mitchell The School Columbia, Paul Mitchell The School Charleston, and Paul Mitchell The School Greenville does not guarantee employment upon graduation, Paul Mitchell The School Columbia, Paul Mitchell The School Charleston, and Paul Mitchell The School Greenville does maintain an aggressive job placement program and will inform students of job openings and opportunities. Paul Mitchell The School Columbia, Paul Mitchell The School Charleston, and Paul Mitchell The School Greenville coordinates placement programs with local and national salons by sending out surveys and inviting salon owners and guest artists to teach and speak at Paul Mitchell The School Columbia, Paul Mitchell The School Charleston, and Paul Mitchell The School Greenville.
